Will the child support be reviewed in the future?

Typically child support obligations are not automatically reviewed in the future. Such a review is triggered by one of the parties demanding that such a review take place. The other side can either cooperate or else a supplemental petition or another filing in the divorce court will be necessary to do this. Sometimes people can agree in their child support agreement, that in the future, periodically both sides shall supply income information and re-run the guidelines. Otherwise it’s up to both parties to cooperate, or one party to demand, and if the other party doesn’t cooperate, file the applicable pleadings with the court. Something you don’t want to do unless you really think the other side is earning a whole lot more, or you are earning a whole lot less.
