Who should consider collaborative divorce in Florida?

Collaborative divorce should be considered by most couples. It’s a wonderful concept. An agreement to enter into a collaborative divorce, which can be rescinded at any time during the process, should be entered into or taken more seriously if the following exist:

Number one, both sides are serious about settling their case. Number two, both sides will be honest about the financial circumstances surrounding their case. This gets simpler if both sides already have a fundamental understanding of the family’s finances. And thirdly, if the anger level between the parties or the emotional stability level between the parties is at a reasonable level.

If those things exist, it is my opinion that entering into the collaborative process is appropriate and a good idea for most parties.
