When can parents agree to child relocation?

Parents can agree that one of the parents can relocate with minor children more than 50 miles from the distance of the marital home. There is a form that can be filled out which must be notarized and be in a particular form which will allow for this without the need for applying to a court. An attorney should be consulted to make sure that this procedure is properly carried through. If it is not, it is typical that a court will require the minor children to be returned.
